Constructions Worksheet for Class 7

Construction Worksheets for Class 7 play a vital role in strengthening the maths concepts.

Constructions Class 7 Worksheet 1

1. Construct a triangle ABC with AB = 3.5 cm, BC = 4 cm and CA = 5.2 cm.

2. Construct a parallelogram PQRS, if PQ = 4.4 cm, QR = 3.6 cm and QS = 5.1 cm.

3. Construct a circumcircle of an equilateral triangle with side 5.5 cm each.

4. Construct a rectangle ABCD given that AB = 6.5 cm and AC = 4.5 cm.

5. Construct a square ABCD whose side AB = 3.6 cm. Measure the length of the diagonals.

6. Draw an incircle of an isosceles triangle ABC in which one of the equal side AB is 4 cm and vertical angle A is 60°.

7. Draw a line segment AB of length 7 cm. Mark a point O at a distance of 4.5 cm from A. Construct a line perpendicular to AB at O.

8. Construct the following angles using a ruler and a pair of compasses.

a. 105°

b. 75°

c. 90°

9. Construct an isosceles triangle ABC with base AB = 5.2 cm and <A = 45°.

10. Using ruler and a pair of compasses, construct ABC = 30°. Construct the bisector of the angle and measure each part.

11. Construct an DEF = 90° and its angle bisector. Mark a point P on this bisector such that EP = 4.5 cm. From P draw perpendiculars PM and PQ respectively using ruler and compasses and measure.

Constructions Class 7 Worksheet 2

1. Construct a parallelogram ABCD, if AB = 4.4 cm, BC = 5.1 cm and B = 100°.

2. Construct a triangle ABC with AB = 5.2 cm, A = 60° and B = 70°.

3. Construct the following angles using ruler and compasses.

a. 45°

b. 120°

c. 30°

d. 135°

4. Draw a line segment PQ of length 6.5 cm. Mark a point O outside the line. By construction, draw a perpendicular from O and PQ.

5. Draw a line segment AB of length 5.6 cm. Construct the perpendicular bisector of AB. Name the point of bisection as O. Measure and write down the length of OA and OB.

6. Construct an equilateral triangle with DE = 5.6 cm.

7. Construct a rectangle ABCD with AB equal to 7.3 cm and diagonal equal to 9.4 cm. Measure the length of the other side.

8. Using protractor, draw an angle PQR measuring 80°. Bisect PQR using ruler and compasses. Measure and write down the magnitude of each angle.

9. Construct a rhombus PQRS such that PR = 4.7 cm and QS = 5.1 cm.

10. Construct a right-angled triangle ABC where BC = 12 cm and hypotenuse AC = 13 cm. Measure the length of AB. Measure A and C.
