 We have divided the line segment from 0 to 1 into four equal parts.

B represents 1/4
D represents 3/4
E represents 4/4, i.e., 1.
 We have divided the line segment from 0 to 1 into eight equal parts.
B represents 1/8
C represents 2/8
D represents 3/8
H represents 7/8

We have located the given fractions on the above number line.

E represents 4/5
