Vedic Mathematics
The
origin of the Veda is called "Vedic Mathematics". To be more
specific, it originates from the fourth Veda "Atharvaveda". The
"Atharvaveda" belongs to the branches of engineering, mathematics,
sculpture, medicine, and all other sciences with which we are aware today.
The
Sanskrit word Veda is derived from the root vid, meaning to know without
limits. The term Veda includes Veda-Sakhas known to humanity. The Veda is the
repository of all knowledge, fathomless, as deep as it ever appears.

mathematician Jagadguru Sri Bharathi Krishna Teerthaji in the period between
1911 and 1918 and published its findings in a Vedic mathematics book by
Tirthaji Maharaj.

mathematical steps, sometimes solving problems is complex and time consuming.
But using general techniques of Vedic mathematics (applicable to all sets of
given data) and specific techniques (applied to specific sets of given data), numerical

Vedic mathematics can certainly solve mathematical numerical
calculations faster. Some Vedic Mathematics scholars mentioned that using the
tricks of Vedic Mathematics you can calculate 10-15 times faster than our
normal methods. I somewhat agree with this because some methods in Vedic
mathematics are really fast. But some of these methods depend on specific
numbers to be calculated. They are called specific methods.
